What exactly do I get?

A zip with the tracker script (one Node file, zero npm dependencies), a documented config covering keyword groups, locations/languages and alert thresholds, the dashboard + weekly report generators, cron and GitHub Actions recipes, a client-report template, a pitch-and-pricing guide, and a single-agency license. Setup is 30–45 minutes.

Do I need paid accounts?

You need your own SERP API account — that's the point. DataForSEO is pay-as-you-go from a $50 deposit (about $2 per thousand checks); SerpApi has a free tier of 250 searches/month, then from $25/month. Any machine with Node 18+ and a scheduled task works: a cheap VPS, shared cron hosting, or free GitHub Actions.

How does the AI Overview tracking work?

The SERP providers return the AI Overview block Google showed for a keyword, with its references. The kit records whether an AI Overview appeared and whether your domain appears in it, and alerts on both changes. It reads what your API provider returned — it never opens a browser or a chat window.

What is the refund policy?

If the kit doesn't fit how you work, email [email protected] within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full — the zip is yours to keep or delete. One refund per purchase; we only ask for optional feedback.

Why not just use a hosted tracker?

Hosted tools are fine — if you like paying monthly per seat and keeping your keyword data in someone else's cloud. This kit wins on three things: it's a one-time payment, your data stays in your storage as plain JSON, and the weekly client report carries your brand, not theirs.
